The Memphis Challenge Tech Solutions Scholarship Award will be awarded to five (5) MC seniors to support the purchase of technology equipment to further their college education.
Overview
The Tech Solutions Scholarship was established in 2019 with a $2000 gift from a Memphis Challenge alum who wanted to give back to his beloved MC for the nurturing, support, and professional development it gave him in high school. To date, the scholarship has expanded from 4 to 5 students and the individual award has grown from $600 to $1000 due to alumni giving through the 1989 Society.
Tech Solutions: Scholarship Guidelines
The individual Tech Solutions Scholarship Award amount is $1000, and the funds must be used towards technology equipment/supplies deemed essential for college success.
Approved technology includes:
- Laptop Computers
- Monitors
- Tablets/E-Readers/iPads
- Printers/Scanners
- Portable Hard Drive
- Chargers
- Non-Gaming Software
