As part of The Memphis Challenge’s 35th Anniversary celebration, alumni are invited to return to their high schools on Friday, November 22nd. This inspiring event aims to provide a platform to share their personal and professional journeys, motivating current students to discover their paths to success. Back to School Daze offers MC alumni a valuable opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and inspire the next generation of leaders. Alumni from East, White Station, Whitehaven, Central, and Ridgeway High Schools will visit these schools to share their stories of triumph, challenges overcome, and lessons learned.

On November 22nd, The Memphis Challenge invites alumni to a gala celebration commemorating 35 years of empowering students and transforming lives. The evening will pay tribute to the remarkable achievements of 35 alumni in the following fields: Arts & Culture, Healthcare, Politics & Law, Nonprofit & Education, Entrepreneurship & Business, and Finance. The evening promises to be a celebration of the past, present, and future of this transformative program, a night to honor those who have dedicated themselves to fostering the next generation of Memphis leaders.

Challenger Impact Day: A Day of Purpose and Connection

Following the 35th Anniversary Celebration Gala, alumni, students, and community members will participate in Challenger Impact Day in partnership with the Neighborhood Christian Centers. Friends and family will prepare meals, distribute food baskets, and assemble bikes and toys. This day of service embodies the spirit of giving back and exemplifies The Memphis Challenge’s commitment to positively impacting the Memphis community.
